Application for Redevelopment Waiver and Quantitative Control Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a redevelopment waiver and a a quantitative control waiver If granted, the project will still need to provide water qualitative controls, per the requirements of the State’s Design Manual.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.43 acres and is located Between E. Baltmore Street to the North, E. Lomarbrd Street to the south, S. Wolfe Street to the west and S. Chapel Street to the east. The project will consist of St. Michael’s Buildings to be renovated and new parking garage added. 

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The Applicant will satisfy the water quality controls for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.24 ac of this project. 

AND

The Applicant is requesting a Quantitative Control Waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-1 of the City Code.  The Applicant will satisfy the quantitative controls requirements for this project by payment of fee-in-lieu of on-site stormwater management for 0.05.ac of this project.
