Application for Qualitative Control Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a stormwater management waiver.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 3.28 acres (Limit of Disturbance) and is located at 3901 Hillen Road. The project will consist of the following improvements: new main entrance and guard house, curb installation/replacement, new Coagulant Building, stormwater management facilities (Micro-Bioretention, underground sand filter and 54”CMP retention system), fence upgrade/replacement, 8” and 24” water line, flow metering and 108” PCCP, 18” storm drain, 6” sanitary sewer,  6” sanitary sewer & 2” force main relocation, electrical conduit installation /relocation, 3” gas relocation, and 6” chlorine lines.

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 2.00 ac (0.39 ac impervious area) of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative controls for 2.00 ac (0.39 ac impervious area) of this project.
