Application for Qualitative Control and Redevelopment Waiver

The City of Baltimore Department of Public Works is accepting public review and comments on this project’s application for a qualitative control and quantitative control waivers.

Project Description: The project has an approximate area of 0.50 acres and is located southeast at the intersection of Andre Street and East Fort Avenue. The project will consist of replacement in-kind of existing storm sewer and catch basins, installation of French drain with outlet to replacement storm sewer. At separate area, topsoil and general fill will be placed over a portion of impervious area and vegetated. 

The Applicant is requesting a qualitative control waiver in accordance with Article 7, Division II, §23-2 of the City Code.  The Applicant has demonstrated that the 0.50 ac of the project will return the disturbed area to a predevelopment runoff condition. The applicant will not be required to provide qualitative control controls for 0.50 ac of this project. 

AND

The Applicant is requesting a redevelopment waiver in accordance with Article 7, §23-7 of the City Code.  The existing impervious area coverage meets the conditions for this waiver.  The project will provide impervious area reduction to satisfy the requirements of this waiver for 0.50 ac of this project.
