Welcome to the Bureau of Water and Wastewater website. Inside you will find information on virtually every aspect of Baltimore’s Water, Wastewater and Storm Water systems. You will learn about the history of these, how the systems operate today and our plans to provide even better service for a growing region and nation. You will also find important links to access various services, including, making a service request, looking up and paying your water bill and obtaining a boating permit for our reservoirs.

An Important Message

If you have water, sewer or storm drain issues which require our assistance, please call 311 or go to 311 on-line

Examples of these would be: no water in my house, broken main, sewage flowing into a stream, storm drain filled with trash…. By using 311 we can make sure your request is processed, tracked, completed and evaluated for customer satisfaction.

Baltimore County residents who receive water bills from Baltimore City: please call (410) 396-5352 with your water (only) customer service requests and inquiries or use 311 on-line

All water customers can call (410) 396-5398 for billing inquiries.
